Job summary

BlueScope Buildings North America, Inc. is seeking a Sr Engineering Application Solutions Specialist to act as a technical SME for core engineering applications.

You will troubleshoot complex issues, drive process improvements, and support system enhancements across engineering and manufacturing functions. Responsibilities include coordinating testing, upgrades, and implementation activities, mentoring users, and ensuring documentation and training meet business needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 4 additional years of business related experience in lieu of degree.
• 5 years of relevant engineering experience.
• Strong analysis and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary technical support resource for multiple engineering applications such as Vision, Tekla, Autodesk Suite, or RISA.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing and IT to troubleshoot issues and improve workflows.
• Participate in testing, upgrades, releases and bug resolution to ensure reliable performance.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, standardization, automation, and data quality.
