Exelon’s Transmission & Substation Standards group is seeking a Senior Engineer to develop and maintain engineering practices for high voltage assets (765kV to 4kV). You will lead standard development, work with external vendors, and coordinate with relay, protection, and substation teams to ensure safe, reliable designs.

The role requires a PE or equivalent, 7+ years of experience, and strong analytical and leadership skills.

Qualificações

• Must have 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to identify and resolve complex issues.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.

Responsabilidades

• Serve as a Subject Matter Expert for a class of T&S Standards including engineering practices and material specifications.
• Point of contact for technical questions related to material application and design standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal groups to set design standards ensuring safety and constructability.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and provide technical training or mentorship as needed.
• Interface with industry groups (IEEE, EPRI, EEI, MEA) to introduce improvements.
• Investigate failure modes and trends to improve design standards.
