Job summary

Exelon’s Transmission & Substation Standards group maintains and develops design standards for high-voltage assets up to 765kV, 345kV, and lower voltages. The role ensures safe, efficient, and cost-effective designs and provides technical leadership across engineering disciplines.

The position collaborates with internal teams and industry groups, supports storm coverage, and may require extended hours. Strong knowledge of codes, standards, and practical applications is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or PE license required.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Thorough knowledge of engineering standards and practices.

Responsibilities

• Serve as SME for T&S Standards including engineering practices and material specifications.
• Act as point of contact for technical questions on standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal groups to implement standards.
• Lead multi-discipline teams and mentor others.
• Interface with IEEE, EPRI, EEI and other industry bodies.
