Job summary

Cambia Health is seeking a Senior Engineer for Semantic & Agentic Intelligence. The role focuses on designing and owning semantic foundations and AI capabilities across the enterprise, mentoring engineers, and driving standards.

You will contribute to platform strategy and grow toward Principal-level leadership. Expect hybrid work with 3 days in office, engaging in governance, and delivering governed AI solutions in a complex data environment.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in Data Engineering, Semantic Modeling, or AI/ML Engineering, with senior or lead experience
• College degree in CS, Math, Business Admin, or related field; degree may be substituted by experience in healthcare
• Experience with a specific business area is preferred (e.g., Claims, Digital Solutions)
• Knowledge of data governance, security, and enterprise platform ownership

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Data and AI Engineers and drive engineering standards
• Design, build, and own scalable dimensional models, semantic layers, and governed metrics
• Develop and deploy AI agents for healthcare use cases in a governed environment
• Build LLM/agentic applications including RAG pipelines, vector search, and orchestration
