Job summary

BHE GT&S in Bridgeport, WV seeks Engineer I/II/Sr/Sr II to support pipeline, compression, and civil/structural projects across our system. The role requires a four-year ABET-accredited engineering degree and strong leadership with ability to interpret codes and prepare reports.

PE license is preferred; candidates should be able to lead teams, monitor technology changes, and manage multiple tasks effectively.

Qualifications

• Four-year ABET accredited engineering degree (Engineer).
• Strong ability to interpret codes, regulations and practices.
• Experience in preparing technical reports and cost estimates.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, procurement, and construction on pipeline and civil/structural projects.
• Provide technical oversight and support through all project phases.
• Perform civil and structural evaluations and geotechnical assessments.
• Prepare engineering specifications, drawings, cost estimates, and reports.
• Develop and maintain SOPs; review specs for repairs and assessments.
• Deliver engineering assistance and training to engineers.
• Provide PE sign-off for applicable intrastate projects.
• Track budgets and support continuous improvement initiatives.
