Job summary

American Engineering Testing (AET) is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead and execute complex construction materials testing projects. You will drive technical decisions, manage client engagement, and mentor junior staff while expanding client relationships.

The role emphasizes leadership, project management, and quality assurance to improve operational efficiency and service delivery within the Building and Construction service line.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering required.
• PE licensure required.
• 8+ years of experience in construction materials testing or a similar role.
• In-depth knowledge of ASTM, AASHTO, and advanced testing methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple concurrent materials testing projects from pursuit to final reporting.
• Manage project resources including staffing, budgets, and schedules.
• Act as SME for construction materials testing and provide advanced technical guidance.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians; review reports for accuracy and compliance.
