Job summary

American Airlines is seeking an experienced engineering professional to support IFE, WIFI and cabin systems during major modifications. You will train engineers, mentor teams, and lead project efforts while coordinating with manufacturers and regulators.

The role emphasizes developing procedures, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering dispositions to restore serviceability and on-time operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering field required.

Responsibilities

• Train Engineers in area(s) of expertise.
• Mentor Engineers and act as team leader/coordinator on projects.
• Coordinate with manufacturers and regulatory authorities to substantiate engineering dispositions.
• Develop customized procedures for repairs, modifications, inspections or other maintenance actions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.
• Provide engineering support for disposition of discrepant conditions to restore serviceability.
• Prepare engineering documents to implement technical dispositions.
