Job description
This position is to provide support to cabin electrical IFE and WIFI systems. Support repair and alterations of the cabin electrical systems via EO or EA.
Working with other engineering teams create or revise task cards AMM IPC AWDM and CMMs for cabin electrical systems.
Investigate and develop fixes for reliability items on cabin electrical systems.
Work with suppliers and OEMs to develop alterations to existing systems including possible removal and replacement of a system or component to support ongoing efforts.
Support line operations by review of daily out-of-service aircraft or degraded systems and provide technical support.
Qualifications
BS is Engineering required not Engineering Technology and not Engineering Management Electrical Engineering preferred.
Ten or more years of experience in aircraft In-Flight Entertainment WiFi or aircraft cabin electrical systems.
Experience with airline processes and procedures. AA experience preferred.
Must have good interpersonal skills work well with others in a group and be self-motivated and able to prioritize workload and multiple high-priority items.
