Job summary

Pepco Holdings, part of the Exelon family, is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead planning, design and execution of electric and gas infrastructure projects in Newark, Delaware. You will mentor junior engineers and ensure safety, reliability and regulatory compliance across complex programs.

Responsibilities include system performance analyses, grid modernization strategies, cross-functional collaboration, budget and schedule management, and field inspections.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or PE license.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.
• Knowledge of engineering designs, principles and practices.
• Owner of NERC PRC and CIP standards knowledge.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to apply advanced engineering principles to complex issues.
• Lead experiences or PE/licensure related to the role.

Responsibilities

• Leads and performs assignments in specialized areas requiring extensive engineering expertise.
• Leads tasks and projects with significant complexity and field testing.
• Evaluates complex technical issues and recommends actions.
• Develops and leads projects with significant financial/operational impact.
• Provides technical training and mentorship to others.
• Participates in planning, meetings, and budget performance.
• May participate in industry societies to stay updated.
