Job summary

Exelon is seeking a Senior Engineer to provide technical leadership in planning, design and execution of utility projects across electric, gas, and related systems. The role includes mentoring engineers, leading complex analyses, and ensuring safety, reliability and compliance.

Responsibilities cover grid modernization strategies, budget and schedule management, and cross-functional collaboration. Must have PE credentials and extensive experience; readiness for storm coverage is valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in engineering with PE license required.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical/mechanical systems and standards.
• Ability to analyze complex technical issues and propose solutions.
• Experience with NERC PRC and CIP standards is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead and perform engineering tasks on complex projects with impact.
• Develop commissioning plans and document deliverables.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide guidance.
• Support budgets, schedules, and stakeholder engagement.
• Review standards and assist audits; participate in cross-functional teams.
