Job summary

Exelon Corporation is seeking aSenior Engineer to provide technical leadership in planning, design and execution of utility infrastructure projects including electric and gas systems. The role includes mentoring junior engineers, leading complex studies and ensuring safety, reliability and regulatory compliance across projects.

The position demands strong project management, cross‑functional collaboration and the ability to coordinate with multiple teams to deliver on strategic grid

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) credential.
• 7+ years of professional engineering experience with broad knowledge across electrical/mechanical systems.
• Experience applying engineering principles to complex problems and standards.
• Licensure as Professional Engineer or advanced degree/PM certification can reduce required on‑the‑job training.
• Graduate degree or industry committee participation are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership for planning, design, and execution of utility infrastructure projects (electric/gas).
• Mentor junior engineers and lead complex engineering studies.
• Develop strategies for grid modernization and ensure safety, reliability, and compliance.
• Manage budgets, schedules and resources for major projects.
• Lead cross‑functional collaboration and stakeholder engagement.
