Job summary

Pepco, part of Exelon, is seeking an engineer to independently perform technical tasks in the planning, design, construction, and maintenance of utility infrastructure. This includes electric distribution, transmission, substations, and related systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering required.
• 2–4 years of professional engineering experience.
• Ability to analyze and interpret complex electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Performs engineering assignments with independent discretion under guidance of a senior engineer.
• Analyzes power flows and conducts complex engineering tests.
• Designs high voltage transmission and distribution circuits meeting engineering standards.
• Evaluates effectiveness of technical systems and participates on project teams.
