Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Principal Engineer - DMSMS/Obsolescence to join the Oklahoma City team onsite. The role focuses on reliability studies, obsolescence management, and materials analyses across the program lifecycle.

Responsibilities include BOM research, data element identification, and trade-study analyses to guide obsolescence resolutions with cost-benefit considerations. U.S. Secret clearance is required for on-site work.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM with 5+ years experience
• Ability to obtain U.S. Government Secret security clearance
• On-site work in Oklahoma City, OK
• Excellent communication skills across departments
• Working knowledge of BOMs, engineering drawings, and maintenance parts lists
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Logistics experience with solving DMSMS issues and providing resolutions

Responsabilidades

• Develop reliability, maintainability, and availability studies across the program life cycle
• Analyze aircraft maintenance programs and recommend improvements
• Research Bills of Materials and IPBs to build a comprehensive database
• Identify obsolescence data for LRUs, SRUs, and parts
• Engage with manufacturers for obsolescence information and proactive resolution
• Provide health assessments of systems and propose cost-benefit trade-offs
• Define clear resolution paths with customer-focused comparisons
