Starbucks Coffee Company seeks a senior engineer to provide technical leadership for our manufacturing operations in Augusta, GA. You will apply engineering principles to solve complex process and equipment challenges in our soluble coffee production lines.

You will design and optimize processes to improve safety, quality, efficiency, yield, and plant performance, analyze data for trends, and lead root-cause analysis of deviations.

Formación

• Electrical, mechanical, chemical or industrial engineering background.
• 3 years in engineering disciplines.
• 5 years in engineering design and implementation.
• 5 years in order management systems.
• 5 years in warehouse or inventory system implementation.
• 1 year in project management.
• Team-building and cross-functional collaboration.
• Clear written and oral communication.

Responsabilidades

• Provide technical leadership for manufacturing operations and solve process, equipment, and operational challenges.
• Design, optimize, and support soluble coffee manufacturing processes to improve safety, product quality, efficiency, yield, throughput, and plant performance.
• Analyze process and equipment performance data to identify trends, losses, constraints, and opportunities for improvement, translating findings into actionable recommendations.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for process deviations, equipment failures, and recurring reliability issues, ensuring corrective actions address underlying causes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives that increase capacity and reliability while reducing waste, energy consumption, operating costs, and process variability.
• Develop and improve equipment reliability strategies, including preventive and predictive maintenance approaches, in partnership with Maintenance and Operations.
• Evaluate new technologies, equipment, and engineering methods using technical, operational, and financial analysis to determine business value.
• Develop and execute capital projects from concept through execution with clear accountability for scope, schedule, budget, risk, and business results.
• Manage the commercial aspects of engineering projects, including RFPs, bids, contract negotiations, contractors, and expenditures.
• Lead cross-functional engineering initiatives, building alignment among Operations, Maintenance, Automation, Quality, Safety, and other stakeholders.
