Job summary

Warren CAT is seeking an Engine Technician IV to deliver high-quality repair service on CAT equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and rebuild gas and diesel engines, apply CAT warranty guidelines, and ensure accurate documentation and reporting.

The role requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, diagnostic software, and extensive tooling, with adherence to safety and quality standards. The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED with several years of related experience, and

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED, with 5–8 years related experience or equivalent.
• AA in Applied Diesel Technology preferred.
• Ability to interpret written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions and solve problems with concrete variables.

Responsibilities

• Complete assigned jobs to meet flat rate times and metrics.
• Follow safety policies and wear required PPE.
• Complete related paperwork and access required databases accurately and promptly.
• Perform engine disassembly/reassembly, inspect and adjust assemblies.
• Diagnose and repair gas and diesel engines and provide repair recommendations.
• Prepare accurate quotes and pricing estimates for customers.
