John Deere in Waterloo, IA is seeking a Senior Engineer – OEM Engine Integration for Power Systems. You will guide engine and aftertreatment integration into OEM platforms, applying systems engineering to balance customer needs, risk, and business objectives.

You will lead cross-functional teams, ensure programs meet current and future customer needs, and work with early adopters to drive successful integration. This role requires strong technical leadership and diesel engine experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience with diesel engines and engine applications is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving and technical communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as technical lead for engine and aftertreatment integration into OEM platforms.
• Apply systems engineering to define and scope engine projects balancing requirements and risk.
• Develop understanding of customer operations and translate needs into engineering requirements.
• Provide technical leadership across cross-functional teams to deliver solutions worldwide.
• Identify and resolve gaps in program scope and lead integration with early adopters.
