John Deere seeks an Engineer, Engine and Cooling for the Construction & Forestry division in Dubuque, IA. You will develop vehicle fuel, air intake, and cooling systems, create specs and documentation, and collaborate with suppliers and JDPS to meet vehicle requirements.

Responsibilities include supporting prototypes, tests, and launches while working with a multi-disciplinary team to optimize designs and processes. This onsite role offers comprehensive benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Degree in engineering or related field.
• Experience interpreting technical data and making data-driven decisions.
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
• Familiarity with engineering workflows and tools.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 10%.

Responsibilities

• Develop vehicle fuel, air intake, and engine cooling systems.
• Create engineering drawings, specs, and design documentation.
• Determine cooling requirements and work with suppliers on designs.
• Define engine BOMs and calibrations with JDPS.
• Support prototype builds, tests, and production launches.
• Contribute to ISDP projects and engineering guidelines.
