Job summary

John Deere is seeking an Engineer, Engine and Cooling in Dubuque, IA to develop engine cooling systems and related subsystems for new construction and forestry equipment. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to deliver design documentation and support prototypes through production launches.

The role requires experience with 3D CAD tools (Creo, SolidWorks), strong data interpretation, and collaboration across engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Develop engine fuel, air intake, and cooling systems for new products.

• Determine cooling requirements and coordinate with suppliers on optimized designs.
• Collaborate with JD Power Systems to define BOMs and calibrations for vehicle requirements.
• Support prototype builds, testing, and production launches by diagnosing issues.
