Located in Waterloo, this onsite role partners with engineering teams to deliver technically robust fluids solutions and support engine-development programs.

The candidate will bring 5+ years in oil development and lubrication, plus strong knowledge of ASTM/SAE standards, and the ability to travel up to 25% as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in engine-oil development, lubrication engineering, or related fluids work.
• Understanding fluids compatibility with metals, elastomers, polymers, seals.
• Experience with test plans, validation matrices, or qualification procedures in engines or fluids.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute engine fluids strategy and roadmap focusing on engine-oils.
• Drive development and validation of new engine-fluids formulations and performance improvements.
• Interface with additive companies, oil blenders, external labs, and internal engineering partners.
• Provide technical support and guidance to engine-development teams for engine-oil projects.
