Job summary

Workday is seeking an Engagement Manager for our Higher Education practice to lead multiple Workday deployments from planning through production. You will manage client relationships with executive leadership and implement teams, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery and profitable outcomes.

The role emphasizes ownership of project P&L, guiding teams, and leveraging Workday methodologies. Flexible in-office schedule supports collaboration with customers and colleagues.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of project management experience on medium/large ERP deployments in Higher Education.
• Consulting experience (6+ years) with internal or external firms.
• Experience implementing Workday or similar ERP (6+ years).
• Knowledge of HCM, Financials, or SIS domains (4+ years).

Responsibilities

• Manage one or more Workday product implementations concurrently.
• Guide requirements and delivery during sales cycle when requested.
• Mentor Professional Services resources on your implementations.
• Ensure projects are properly planned and staffed.
• Manage and measure project performance; perform risk management.
• Work with client PM to resolve scope/timeframe issues.
• Present at Executive Steering Committee; promote Workday best practices.
