Job summary

Alpha Financial Markets Consulting in the United States is seeking an Engagement Manager to own governance and delivery of Workday deployments, coordinating methodology, timelines, scope, budget, resources, risks, and cross-workstream delivery.

You will serve as the primary liaison between client leadership and the implementation team, manage scope, budget, and schedule, and lead cross-functional teams through testing, cutover, and go-live, with strong emphasis on stakeholder management and

Qualifications

• 4+ years managing enterprise software deployments, preferably Workday Financials, HCM, or similarly complex cloud transformation programs.
• Strong PMO, project planning, scope control, budget management, risk management, and cross-team coordination skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage client stakeholders and communicate effectively with senior project and business leaders.
• Experience coordinating multiple functional and technical workstreams through testing, cutover, and go-live.

Responsibilities

• Project governance and lifecycle management using Workday implementation methodology, maintaining integrated plans, milestones, RAID logs, decision logs, status reporting, and governance routines.
• Manage project scope, delivery timelines, budget tracking, resource plans, dependencies, and change control. Escalate issues with options and actions.
• Develop strong relationships with client project managers, sponsors, and workstream leads as the primary coordination contact.
• Coordinate communications, checkpoints, and QA activities with Workday teams, including Delivery Assurance.
• Facilitate coordination across functional, technical, data, testing, change, and client teams to maintain alignment.
• Proactively identify delivery risks and issues, establish mitigation plans, drive ownership, and ensure timely escalation and resolution.
• Coordinate testing, UAT, cutover, deployment, and stabilization plans across workstreams with readiness criteria.
• Prepare concise, decision-oriented status reporting for steering committee discussions.
• Promote disciplined use of delivery methods, templates, and governance standards.
