Workday is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead mid to large Workday deployments using the Deployment Methodology, coordinating multiple projects and guiding teams through complex challenges. The role supports executive expectations with field experience-driven insights and may engage in sales activities to shape delivery proposals.

The ideal candidate will be based in the Central or Eastern time zone, with Senior level consideration and deep knowledge of Workday modules.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience of project management with HCM, Payroll, or Financial implementations in mid to large enterprises, higher education or government.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

Responsabilités

• Become a guide in Workday's Implementation Methodology and demonstrate it on all engagements.
• Lead the implementation of 3–5 simultaneous projects.
• Show strength in the Workday product suite – Financials, HCM, and/or Payroll.
• Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements and develop a proposal/SOW.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources.
• Ensure projects are planned, staffed and managed within scope and budget.
• Identify/resolve issues impacting scope/timeframes with the client’s project manager.
• Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings.
• Encourage use of Workday standard methodologies.
• Be a liaison for professional services with sales and development.
• Identify opportunities to position other service offerings.
• Ensure client can serve as a reference post-implementation.
• Assist in transitioning client to product support.
