Job summary

Workday is seeking an Engagement Manager in the Central or Eastern time zone to lead mid‑to‑large deployments using the Workday Deployment Methodology across multiple concurrent projects.

You will guide implementation across Financials, HCM, and Payroll, participate in the sales cycle, mentor staff, manage scope and budget, and present to Executive Steering Committees while ensuring client alignment with standard methodologies.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ project management with HCM, Payroll, or Financial implementations.
• 3+ years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

Responsibilities

• Become a guide in Workday's Implementation Methodology and demonstrate it on all engagements.
• Lead the implementation of 3 - 5 simultaneous projects.
• Show strength in the Workday product suite – Financials, HCM, and/or Payroll.
• Participate in the sales cycle to gather requirements and develop a proposal/SOW.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources.
• Ensure projects are accurately planned, staffed and budget/resource forecasting.
• Present to Executive Steering Committees and ensure client uses standard methodologies.
• Be a liaison for professional services with sales and/or development.
• Identify opportunities to position other service offerings.
• Help ensure client can serve as a reference after go-live.
• Assist in transition from professional services to product support.
• Ensure delivery within the SOW budget and manage change orders.
