Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking an Engagement Manager to lead mid to large Workday deployments across multiple engagements. You will guide client teams, ensure delivery within scope and budget, and participate in sales discussions to shape delivery approaches.

The role requires strong project management, expertise in Workday modules (Financials, HCM, Payroll), and the ability to mentor Professional Services staff. Travel up to 50% may be required in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

5+ years’ experience of project management with HCM, Payroll, or Financial implementations within medium enterprise, large enterprise, higher education and/or state and local governments.
3+years of experience implementing Workday, Oracle, SAP, PeopleSoft or similar applications.

Responsibilities

Lead 3–5 simultaneous deployments and manage scope, timeline, and budgets.
Provide guidance and mentoring to Professional Services resources on implementations.
Interact with client project managers to identify and resolve issues impacting scope or timelines.
Present at Executive Steering Committee meetings and communicate progress to stakeholders.
Collaborate with sales and development to position additional service offerings.
Assist in transitioning customers from professional services to product support.
