Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead delivery across engagements onsite in Memphis, TN. The role focuses on client satisfaction, project management, and cross-functional leadership to ensure high-quality services and outcomes.

You will manage stakeholder communications, budgeting, and team performance while identifying growth opportunities with sales partners. Travel is possible a few times per year.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language).
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills. People management skills.
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master.
• Exposure to professional services agreements including the change management process.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services, project management classes, and other IT certifications.
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagements varying delivery models and ensure objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Strategic Client Relationship Management and building rapport with stakeholders.
• Regular Stakeholder communication on progress, challenges, and results.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting and profitability of engagements.
• Resource allocation and optimization across engagements.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare detailed performance reports for senior management and clients.
• Lead larger engagement teams and mentor resources.
