Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services is seeking an Engagement Manager II to lead day‑to‑day execution for strategic client engagements, including AI/GenAI initiatives. You will coordinate with Delivery Resources and report to the Senior Engagement Manager, influencing outcomes and ensuring customer satisfaction.

The role emphasizes budgeting, schedule adherence, risk mitigation, and executive storytelling in client reviews.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project or program management roles within large, complex environments.
• Proven track record of successfully managing complex projects with strong client relationship management skills.
• Experience in service delivery alignment with contractual agreements, SLAs, and compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, including estimating project scope, budgeting, burn, and data‑driven decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to influence clients and stakeholders.
• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and able to multitask across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Own the execution of one or more engagements or workstreams for a strategic client, ensuring objectives are met on time and within budget.
• Build rapport with client stakeholders at the working level and align delivery with near‑term goals.
• Regularly inform internal and external stakeholders about progress, challenges, and results.
• Contribute engagement‑level data and insights to value framework to identify business impact.
• Coordinate and guide Delivery Resources without formal managerial responsibility.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and tracking to ensure profitability.
• Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies for engagement stability.
• Gather data to support optimization for internal teams and clients.
• Maintain governance, structure, and controls; support QBRs and executive reporting.
