Job summary

TEKsystems Global Services (TGS) seeks an Engagement Manager II to lead multiple engagements from Memphis, TN, ensuring delivery excellence, strong client satisfaction, and profitability. You will supervise delivery teams, drive multi‑partner coordination, and foster a high‑performing, customer‑centric environment.

The role requires 5+ years in project management, 3+ years leading technical or operations teams, and the ability to travel occasionally. English communication must be exemplary.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management.
• 3+ years of experience leading technical, field services, logistics, data center, construction, deployment, or operations teams.
• Availability to support a 24x7 operating model, including early mornings, evenings, and after-hours escalations as needed.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills (English language).
• Analysis and problem-solving skills.
• Time management and organizational skills.
• People management skills.
• Experience in project management fundamentals or as an acting Scrum Master.
• Exposure to professional services agreements including the change management process.
• Exposure to IT Managed Services, project management classes, and other IT certifications.
• Demonstrated project risk analysis and mitigation skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engagements varying delivery models to ensure objectives are achieved, delivered according to schedule, and within budget.
• Builds rapport and maintains relationships with client stakeholders to understand their long-term goals and align services accordingly.
• Regularly inform internal and external stakeholders about the progress, challenges, and results of engagement activities.
• Manage the financial aspects of engagements, including budgeting, forecasting, and ensuring profitability.
• Ensure efficient utilization of resources across engagements, optimizing team performance and engagement outcomes.
• Identify potential risks early and implement strategies to mitigate them, ensuring engagement stability.
• Prepare detailed performance reports and present them to senior management and clients.
• Lead larger engagement teams, mentoring resources, and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Focusing on client satisfaction and retention by delivering high-quality services and addressing issues promptly.
• Identify opportunities and collaborate with sales partners for upselling and cross-selling, aiding in organic growth.
