Job summary

Chubb's Energy Practice is seeking a Senior Underwriter to manage a $7-10 million book of business in the assigned territory, growing the portfolio with profitable pricing and strong client relationships. This role emphasizes multi-line experience across Package, Automobile, Pollution, WC, Umbrella and International lines.

You will lead growth initiatives, conduct broker visits, develop production sources, and mentor team members while collaborating with internal partners to deliver sound risk

Qualifications

• Strong sales and marketing skills demonstrated to position accounts and close deals.
• Proven success in marketing, producer/book management and new business development.
• Ability to negotiate with internal and external partners and nurture producer relations.
• High proficiency with underwriting process and risk analysis.
• Effective desk management and organization.
• Exemplary interaction with customers and coworkers at all levels.
• Knowledge of underwriting technical issues, compliance, coverage, pricing & strategies.
• Results orientation with entrepreneurial spirit and collaborative teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Grow and manage the energy book of business in assigned territory.
• Develop profitable pricing strategies and strong client relationships.
• Identify opportunities for growth within new and existing production sources.
• Conduct broker and insured visits based on monthly goals.
• Cross-sell opportunities and market to drive book expansion.
• Maintain and improve internal and external partnerships.
