Job summary

The role requires a doctorate or a master’s with 10+ years in controls/estimation, proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and C/C++/Python, and a strong publication track record. A Top Secret clearance is required.

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master’s with 10+ years of relevant domain experience.
• Deep knowledge in advanced controls, optimization, estimation, or detection.
• Proficiency in MATLAB/Simulink and at least one programming language.

Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional research teams and develop advanced control and estimation algorithms.
• Validate solutions via simulation and hands-on testing on target systems.
• Document work through publications and patent applications to protect IP.
• Transfer mature technologies to GE Vernova engineering teams for product integration.
• Stay updated on emerging systems tech and identify new research directions.
• Collaborate with GE Research, GE Vernova units, and external partners.
