Job summary

CoreSite, LLC is seeking a Senior Energy Manager to lead the company’s energy strategy for its growing data center portfolio. The role reports to the VP of Power & Energy and involves negotiating energy contracts, managing utility relationships, and driving cost optimization and sustainability initiatives.

Qualifications

• Education as stated: bachelor's in energy-related field; master's or cert preferred.
• 7+ years in energy procurement; experience with utility providers and evaluating alternative power solutions.
• Experience in data centers, utilities, or telecoms is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and lead CoreSite's energy strategy across a portfolio of data center facilities.
• Negotiate energy supply contracts and manage utility provider relationships.
• Evaluate and implement alternative power solutions, including renewable energy sources.
• Analyze markets and policy trends to optimize procurement and risk management.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, engineering, and construction to align energy capacity with business goals.
• Ensure reporting and regulatory compliance for energy procurement activities.
