CoreSite, a leading data center provider, seeks a Senior Energy Manager to drive energy strategy across its data center portfolio. The role negotiates energy supply contracts, manages utility relationships, and guides renewable initiatives to support growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities include cost optimization, risk management, and cross-functional collaboration with finance, operations, engineering, and construction teams to align energy procurement with strategic goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Energy Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement energy/utility processes and strategies for short- and long-term needs.
• Build and maintain relationships with utility providers and track policy/tariff trends.
• Negotiate energy service agreements and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate alternative power solutions including renewable sources for reliability.
• Analyze energy markets to identify trends and adjust procurement/public policy strategies.
• Implement cost-saving measures in power design and procurement.
• Develop risk mitigation for energy price volatility and capacity issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align power capacity with business goals.
• Manage reporting on energy procurement and compliance.
