Job summary

Fluence is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead planning, execution, and delivery of large-scale Battery Energy Storage System projects. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage schedules, budgets, risks, and client communications to ensure on-time, on-budget project completion.

The role requires 10+ years of relevant experience, a technical engineering degree, and the ability to work in a matrixed, global organization. Travel around 15% is expected.

Qualifications

• BS/BA degree in Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10+ years of experience managing large-scale industrial, power, energy, renewable energy, or BESS projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams and coordinating multiple stakeholders.
• Experience managing projects with contract values of approximately $100M+.
• PMP Certification preferred.
• Lean or Six Sigma certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute large-scale projects including scope, schedule, and budget.
• Lead cross-functional teams across engineering, procurement, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Serve as primary point of contact for clients, stakeholders, contractors, and internal teams.
• Monitor progress, prepare status updates, and maintain visibility of deliverables.
• Identify and mitigate project risks and manage escalations and issues.
• Ensure project documentation and compliance requirements are maintained.
• Travel approximately 15% for project site visits and meetings.
