Job summary

SOLV Energy, LLC in Yerington, NV is seeking a Senior Superintendent to oversee BESS construction, ensure safe and successful project execution, and lead field operations on utility-scale energy storage projects.

The role requires travel, mentoring crews, coordinating with engineering and procurement, enforcing safety and quality, and delivering projects on schedule and within budget.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in utility-scale renewable or industrial electrical construction.
• 5 years of supervisory experience preferred.
• 3 years of utility-scale energy storage construction preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work within union labor agreements.
• Experience managing union labor and subcontractors.
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations of energy storage projects.
• Mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, craft personnel and other junior staff.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities and train team members.
• Hire and develop craft labor employees.
• Develop and implement operations procedures for continuous improvement.
• Ensure adherence to Quality Control plans and safety procedures.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimating and internal departments.
• Communicate with project owners, utilities and contractors; manage stakeholder relations.
• Track performance metrics and report project updates to senior management.
