Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in utility-scale renewable construction or industrial electrical work.
• 5 years supervisory experience preferred.
• 3 years energy storage construction preferred.
• Experience with union labor agreements.
• State licensed electrician or journeyman preferred.
• Strong budgeting and resource allocation experience.
• Proficient in standard PC applications.
• OSHA 30-hour construction safety certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day field operations of energy storage projects.
• Mentor superintendents, assistant superintendents, craft personnel and other junior level employees.
• Assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide guidance and training.
• Hire and develop craft labor employees.
• Develop and implement operations procedures for continuous improvement.
• Ensure implementation and adherence to Quality Control plan.
• Conduct site visits to assess progress and adherence to policies.
• Foster a culture of safety, accountability and continuous improvement.
• Support project schedules, labor/equipment plans and sequencing.
• Review design documents for constructability and feedback.
• Support BOM development and takeoffs.
• Coordinate with engineering, procurement, estimating and other departments.
• Communicate with stakeholders including project owners, utilities and vendors.
• Track status, metrics and updates to senior management.
• Enforce safety procedures and participate in Safety Training.
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback.
