Job summary

Trane Technologies in the Richmond area is seeking a Construction Project Manager to oversee multi-million dollar construction, energy services, and HVAC controls projects. You will manage budgets, schedules, and stakeholder communications, while leading a project team from inception to completion.

You will coordinate with sales on quotes, validate scope and cost, handle change orders, and ensure customer satisfaction. Experience with PM software and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Strong leadership skills with ability to mentor project managers.
• Excellent verbal and written communication; able to influence stakeholders.
• Experience managing multi-million dollar construction/energy services projects.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple teams and manage schedules.
• Knowledge of construction systems and technologies.

Responsibilities

• Support sales through scope development, quotes, and proposals.
• Validate scope, cost and schedule via contracts and pre-bid meetings.
• Lead change order management and provide total solutions.
• Maintain customer satisfaction and develop communication plans.
• Oversee subcontractors, RFQ processes, and progress meetings.
• Manage project finances: cash flow, forecast, cost to completion.
• Create and maintain project schedules with milestones and critical path.
• Ensure contract compliance, safety guidelines, and regulatory adherence.
