Job summary

Puget Sound Energy seeks a Senior Energy Resource Planning Acquisition Analyst - Anaplan to support long-term resource planning and acquisitions. You will develop financial models in Anaplan, analyze data, and communicate results to senior management and external stakeholders.

The role requires advanced modeling skills, cross-functional collaboration, and ability to address policy impacts on long-term strategy. A strong background in energy markets and data-driven decision making is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Engineering, Finance, Math, or related field.
• Seven years of relevant work experience, including five years in an energy-related industry involving complex analysis.
• Experience building complex spreadsheets to analyze questions.
• Solid written, interpersonal, and group communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and perform long-term resource analysis using models such as Aurora.
• Build financial models in Anaplan.
• Communicate analytical results to stakeholders through visuals and presentations.
• Develop input databases for long-term resource planning.
• Monitor energy load and supply trends and update models as needed.
