Job summary

Puget Sound Energy is seeking an experienced Acquisition Analyst to support long-term energy resource planning and acquisitions. The role involves building financial proformas, leading consensus on analytical approaches, and coordinating research on trends in energy markets and policy issues.

You will communicate complex analyses to senior management and external stakeholders, while partnering with IT to automate processes and streamline workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, economics, engineering, finance, math, or related field.
• Ten (10) years of relevant work experience in energy-related analytics with complex analysis.
• Strong communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Develops quantitative and qualitative analytical methods to support long-term energy resource planning and acquisition.
• Builds interdepartmental consensus on analytical approaches and input assumptions.
• Coordinates research to identify trends in long-term energy markets and policy impacts.
• Leads communication of analytical results to internal and external stakeholders.
