Job summary

Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) seeks a Senior Analyst to advance research and strategic initiatives across energy policy and grid modernization topics. You will synthesize data, regulatory insights, and policy developments for utilities, policymakers, and stakeholders, contributing to SEPA’s RIS programs and external communications.

You will develop content, coordinate with leadership, and support cross-border knowledge exchange and international policy initiatives while collaborating

Qualifications

• 3+ years of energy industry experience in government, nonprofit, or private sector.
• Bachelor’s degree listed; advanced degree preferred.
• Strong research, analytical, and written/public speaking skills.
• Ability to translate policy and market complexity into clear insights.
• Experience leading complex research projects and cross-team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple research tasks independently and in teams to deliver high-quality outputs.
• Lead data collection, analysis, and visualization; track regulatory developments.
• Synthesize international policy developments for various deliverables and audiences.
• Develop RIS-related content for external communications, leadership support, and events.
• Support member engagement and cross-department collaboration across SEPA.
