Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead energy siting, routing, and permitting efforts across Colorado, Wyoming, and the Rockies region. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, develop strategies, and ensure on-schedule, on-budget project delivery.

Ideal candidates have 8-15+ years in environmental consulting, strong leadership and client relationship skills, and experience with regulatory permitting across federal, state, and local levels.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Planning, Environmental Science, Engineering, Land Use Planning, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• 8-15+ years of environmental consulting experience supporting energy, utility, transmission, renewable energy, or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with utility-scale energy siting, routing, permitting, and regulatory compliance.
• Experience managing multidisciplinary consulting teams and multiple concurrent projects.
• Strong leadership, organizational, technical writing, presentation, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the Senior Project Manager for complex utility-scale energy, transmission, and infrastructure projects.
• Lead siting, routing, environmental permitting, and project development activities from project pursuit through completion.
• Provide strategic oversight for multidisciplinary project teams to deliver projects on schedule, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Develop project work plans, permitting strategies, schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and project execution approaches.
• Lead preparation and quality reviews of federal, state, and local environmental permit applications and deliverables.
