Job summary

Edge Engineering and Science is seeking a Senior Environmental Permitting Project Manager to lead permitting and regulatory compliance for major energy infrastructure across the United States.

You will guide multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with federal and state agencies, and develop regulatory roadmaps to support project development from feasibility through construction and compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Biology, Ecology, Natural Resources, or related field.
• Minimum 7+ years of environmental permitting and regulatory consulting experience.
• Experience supporting energy infrastructure development projects.
• Experience preparing federal and state environmental permit applications.
• Strong understanding of Clean Water Act Sections 404/401, Rivers and Harbors Act Section 10, NEPA, and permitting requirements.
• Proven project management experience, including budgets, schedules, and teams.
• Excellent communication, client management, and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead environmental permitting and regulatory compliance for energy infrastructure projects across the United States.
• Prepare environmental documentation supporting FERC applications and authorizations.
• Develop permitting strategies and regulatory roadmaps to support project schedules and client objectives.
• Coordinate with federal, state, and local agencies throughout planning, permitting, and implementation.
• Manage project teams, budgets, schedules, and deliverables; mentor staff.
• Support business development and strategic growth within the energy market.
