Job summary

Tetra Tech is seeking an experienced Project Manager to support energy and permitting initiatives in the Rockies region. You will lead siting, routing, and environmental permitting for utility-scale projects across Colorado, Wyoming, and surrounding areas.

You will manage multidisciplinary teams, coordinate with clients and regulators, and drive successful project delivery while expanding technical expertise within the Energy Practice. A hybrid/remote setup is possible depending on location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related field and 5–8 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Experience managing environmental permitting and project development activities.
• Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Manage siting, routing, environmental permitting, and project development from planning through completion.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on schedule and budget.
• Prepare project work plans, schedules, budgets, and resource requirements.
• Support preparation of permit applications and technical reports.
