Job summary

DNV Energy Systems North America seeks a Principal Project Manager with deep technical and commercial expertise in energy technologies and/or project financing for M&A Advisory Services. You will lead high-value due diligence engagements, act as a senior advisor on critical decisions, and develop PM capability across teams in a dynamic, hybrid client environment.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex M&A engagements in energy sectors.
• Ability to translate technical findings into transaction implications.
• Develop and mentor project managers and associated staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex, high-value M&A engagements; serve as trusted advisor on critical decisions.
• Provide senior-level PM and technical advisory services; balance technical, commercial, and delivery trade-offs.
• Develop senior PMs, PMs and APMs; translate experience into repeatable methods and tools.
• Coordinate cross-disciplinary reviews with engineering, energy assessment, and permitting teams.
• Lead customer dialogues; tailor proposals for due diligence scopes, budgets, and timelines.
• Identify risks/opportunities; communicate implications to clients; ensure quality and credibility of deliverables.
