A leading law firm is seeking a highly motivated Associate Attorney to join their Environment, Energy & Resources practice in Seattle. The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of energy law experience and the capability to manage complex transactions. Responsibilities include drafting power purchase agreements, providing strategic advice on electric market design, and representing clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. This position offers a competitive annual salary of $390,000 - $420,000 and various benefits, including an annual discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in energy law required.
• Proven ability to manage complex transactions with minimal supervision.
• Must be admitted to practice in the jurisdiction of the office.

Responsibilities

• Draft and negotiate power purchase agreements and complex arrangements.
• Provide strategic advice on electric market design issues.
• Represent clients before the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
• Counsel clients on emerging energy policy and procurement strategies.
• Participate in client relationship management and practice development.
• Mentor associates and ensure excellence in work product.
