Job summary

BCG Attorney Search in Anchorage, AK seeks a highly motivated senior associate attorney to lead matters in Environment, Energy & Resources, focusing on digital infrastructure and energy transition.

You will manage complex transactions, advise on policy, and mentor junior attorneys while collaborating with top partners on national and global matters.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in energy law.
• Ability to manage complex transactions and regulatory filings independently.
• Deep knowledge of the Federal Power Act and wholesale power markets.
• Admitted to practice (or eligible to waive) in the jurisdiction of the office location.

Responsibilities

• Lead data center power transactions, drafting and negotiating power purchase agreements and energy service agreements.
• Provide strategic advice on electric market design issues within RTOs/ISOs, focusing on PJM, MISO, SPP, ERCOT, and CAISO.
• Represent clients in proceedings before the FERC and advise on compliance with market-based rate programs.
• Counsel clients on emerging energy policy, renewable energy integration, and carbon-free energy procurement strategies.
• Participate in client relationship management and contribute to thought leadership in digital and energy infrastructure.
• Mentor associates within the practice group, ensuring excellence in work product and professional development.
