Job summary

Leidos Engineering LLC is a premier national engineering-based management consulting firm seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to lead energy efficiency assessments, calculate energy savings, and communicate technical issues within project teams. You will work closely with contractors, suppliers, architects and project engineers to implement energy programs across commercial and industrial facilities.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field with 6+ years of experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
Strong written and verbal communication; ability to work on a technical team.

Responsibilities

Review energy efficiency applications for incentives and rebates.
Assess energy systems in industrial/commercial settings (HVAC, lighting, compressed air).
Research technology changes to improve energy efficiency programs.
Maintain knowledge of energy efficiency concepts and IECC/ASHRAE standards.
Verify energy savings calculations and provide program guidance.
