Energy Sciences is seeking a qualified energy engineer to help commercial and industrial clients reduce energy use and improve system performance through energy efficiency programs, assessments, and direct-to-customer consulting services.

The role emphasizes performing energy and economic analyses, site surveys, and developing projects with a collaborative team, including the mentoring of others. Travel up to 25% is expected, with a home-based office in the Metro Detroit area.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or a closely related discipline.
• Minimum of four (4) years of professional experience with energy engineering, energy consulting, building system performance consulting, or energy-related systems.
• Experience conducting energy assessments, facility evaluations, and system investigations within commercial and industrial facilities.
• Knowledge of HVAC, lighting, pumps, chilled water, hot water, steam, compressed air, industrial processes, and BAS/BMS.
• Ability to perform energy and economic analyses using utility data, weather normalization, regression analysis, and engineering calculations.
• Experience preparing technical reports and presenting findings to clients and stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with limited supervision.
