Job summary

Energy Infrastructure Partners is seeking a Senior Energy Engineer to support commercial new construction and major renovation energy efficiency programs. You will develop and review whole-building energy models, evaluate alternatives, and translate results into practical recommendations for project teams.

The role requires strong engineering judgment, consultative skills, and the ability to influence design decisions while the project progresses through preconstruction and design phases.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited engineering degree preferred.
• At least 2 years of commercial building energy engineering experience.
• Experience with whole-building energy modeling.
• Experience with EnergyPlus/OpenStudio or similar tools.
• Strong knowledge of ASHRAE 90.1 and energy codes.
• Consultative engineering skills to work with design teams.

Responsibilities

• Develop whole-building energy models for commercial new construction and major renovation projects.
• Review design documents and establish baseline and proposed conditions.
• Quantify energy and economic impacts of proposed measures.
• Develop practical energy efficiency recommendations for design teams.
• Perform model quality reviews and ensure documentation is consistent.
