Partner Engineering & Science, Inc. is seeking an Energy Engineer II to perform energy analyses, facility assessments, and whole-building energy modeling as part of our Energy & Sustainability consulting team.

This mid-level role contributes to project execution, client deliverables, and growing technical leadership. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in building systems and energy analysis and is ready to take on greater project leadership responsibilities within a collaborative

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering; 3+ years in energy efficiency or related consulting.
• Experience with energy modeling tools (eQuest, EnergyPlus, TRACE, EnergyPro).
• Knowledge of HVAC, boilers, lighting, controls, building systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication; analytical and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct ASHRAE Level I–III energy audits and whole-building energy modeling.
• Perform field inspections and evaluate building systems for energy-saving opportunities.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations, and client-ready deliverables.
• Manage small projects or workstreams, including scheduling and budget tracking.
• Coordinate with clients and internal teams to track status and questions.
