Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking a Senior Engineer I to lead high‑level client engagements, assess industrial operations, and develop optimization models to maximize energy efficiency and performance. You will mentor peers, manage projects, and write feasibility reports for energy projects.

You will work onsite with clients in the Salt Lake City area, with travel approximately 20%, contributing to our AI‑forward culture while delivering practical energy solutions for industrial systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• 5–8 years of energy efficiency engineering experience.
• Expert knowledge of refrigeration, compressed air, steam, system modeling, electrical distribution, and data logging.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage high‑profile industrial energy efficiency projects, ensuring scope/schedule/deliverables.
• Analyze industrial systems and quantify energy savings using standard methodologies and spreadsheets.
• Engage onsite with clients to understand equipment/operations and identify efficiency opportunities.
• Communicate findings to diverse audiences and produce client‑ready reports.
• Document and validate performance through data collection/logging and maintain program knowledge.
