Job summary

Cascade Energy is seeking an Energy Efficiency Technician (Senior level considered) to perform facility tune-ups at industrial sites and coach SEM cohorts. You will work with engineering and SEM staff to identify energy saving opportunities and guide customer implementation, leveraging refrigeration system expertise and knowledge of other subsystems.

The role includes on-site and remote support, 70% travel, and a hybrid work arrangement.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of relative work experience in industrial environments; 10 years for Senior.
• Active electrical license.
• Highly proficient with industrial refrigeration.
• Experience with energy-using subsystems: compressed air, pumps, fans, HVAC, lighting.
• Knowledge of industrial control systems and safety standards.
• Familiar with data logger troubleshooting and programming.

Responsibilities

• Perform energy efficiency tune ups of industrial refrigeration systems.
• Identify energy saving opportunities based on condition and control strategies.
• Guide customers toward implementation of recommended projects.
• Provide on-site and remote support for installation of EE projects.
• Maintain relation with industry associations and stay informed on best practices.
• Install data logging equipment and collect data from control systems.
• Deliver energy efficiency trainings at industrial sites.
• Support SEM cohorts by site visits and workshops.
• Facilitate refrigeration operator cohorts workshops for DSM partners.
• Complete high level Microsoft Excel analysis and report writing.
